4º DTD CHAIR PROJECT



4º ESO
CHAIR DESIGN PROJECT. INDUSTRIAL DESIGN

The design of a chair:
- Ergonomics
- Measures ("Modulor" of Le Corbusier)
- Materials
- Place

WORK TO DO
1- Sketchbook
  First page with the following data:
 
-Designer:
-Design name:
-Dimensions: height, width, depth.
-Material:
-Justification of the design: to explain briefly the project (references, inspiration, etc).

2- Dihedral (elevation, plan and profile) views of the 1: 5 scale model in DIN-A4 sheet. The dimensioned should be according to standardization.

3- Axonometric (orthogonal) perspective of the freehand model on DIN-A4 sheet. The image will be treated with free technique, so that it resembles as much as possible to the definitive model (colored, shaded, etc).
*Number 2 and 3  will be presented in a black cardboard and taking care of its presentation.
 
4- Prototype or model in three dimensions at 1: 5 scale with mixed technique
(cardboard, plywood, paper pulp, plaster cast, wire, polystyrene, etc.). It will be attached to a rigid stand.

Delivery date: the 6th of March
